I am a lifelong learner, thinker and doer. Serendipitously, I believe, my professional path has led me from technical roles to sales to “people development” roles, where I feel increasingly at home. I am an internal leadership coach at IBM, and I want to make sure that YOU know this - The postings on this site solely reflect my personal views and do not necessarily represent the views, positions, strategies or opinions of IBM or IBM management (whether I like it or not!). And yes, IBM wants to make sure I say this. And IBM is encouraging blogging as a form of social dialogue and innovation. How cool is that! On a more personal note - my most unexpected real-life learning experience has been in partnership with my husband, Dan, and our three children, Kelsey (13), Ryan (10) and Erin (2). Dan was diagnosed with leukemia and lymphoma in January 2003. With an incredible team of support, we persevered through Dan's chemotherapy treatments and stem cell transplant. We are now experiencing the “new normal”, which has it's own unique challenges!
